WHAT is THE HEART WAY OF BEAUTY AND PURPOSE?
Hatun Kuntur is a Quechua phrase that means “great condor”. The condor is the largest flying bird and one of the oldest species on earth. It is a powerful shamanic symbol in Andean culture associated with the heart way and the freedom and joy of spiritual flight.
Our world is undergoing massive transformation and many people are feeling the deep call to be in service - a longing to be in spiritual community, to heal ourselves, and offer healing to others.
Our focus on our inner work is always the most important part of our journey - the journey of stripping down to our essential selves, so we can become powerful, heart-centered facilitators!
Following the heart way means stepping into the fearlessness of jaguar and welcoming a future with bold options. It means coming back to the Mother. Keeping your belly close to the Earth like serpent. It involves calling on condor to help you clear the dense energy of the past and grow wings that allow you to soar and meet your divine destiny.

I was initiated onto the shamanic path in 2012 by respected kamasqa curandero and altomisayoq adept don Oscar Miro-Quesada from Peru. Don Oscar held an introductory workshop on shamanism in Zion at the time, and this offering was a saving grace for me. I was at the crossroads craving new vision and meaning in my life after struggling with depression and anxiety for quite a while.
I remember standing in a circle with 50 other seekers the first night of the workshop feeling really nervous as don Oscar addressed each of us individually, inquiring about our shamanic experience and reasons for attending. I wasn’t sure what to tell him. I felt drawn, but I had no previous experience with shamanic practices. I finally shared that I was curious. Don Oscar yelled out my answer to the group and went on to talking about coyote medicine. He was joking back and forth with me for a moment and then got very serious. He pressed his condor feathers to my heart and asked:
Do you feel this? This is your path!
Before I knew it, I was involved in a two year apprenticeship with don Oscar and his teaching partner Bonnie Glass-Coffin, associate professor of anthropology and director of the anthropology program at Utah State University.
This sudden leap of faith marked the end of my life as I knew it. I was able to dive deep into my own healing journey and uncover important aspects of my medicine under their loving guidance.
Llamita 2014
Bonnie gave me my medicine name Llamita (little flame) upon graduating in 2014. I was four months pregnant with my only son and getting ready to launch Soul Garden Companion.
Advanced practitioner studies include an in-depth three year training in essential or core shamanism with renowned teacher Julie M. Kramer to become a professional shamanic healing practitioner.
I have fifteen+ years of holding space for people’s healing processes. You will enjoy my wholehearted support and extensive experience, as well as the clarity, depth, and integrity of the powerful teachings that were passed down to me by my teachers.

Our circle will gather on Zoom biweekly with time in between for you to integrate, embody, and practice what you have learned! The estimated time commitment is about 10-12 hours per month for the live calls and home practices.

LESSON 1
Embracing the Call

In this first exploration we’ll be tracing our shamanic roots and honoring our places of belonging before setting out on our year long journey of healing and self-discovery.
LESSON 2
The Living Altar
When the shaman’s altar is ceremonially activated, the medicine pieces arranged on it become the mountains, the rivers, the jaguar, or the empowered representation of his or her own healing.
You will learn how to assemble and activate your mesa or medicine bundle for healing and manifesting.
LESSON 3
Calling the Circle

Activate your medicine council; the helping spirits who have volunteered to assist you in this lifetime as you meet, become, and share your medicine. The medicine they carry, you carry as well.
LESSON 4
Places of Power
“We are not separate from this Earth; we are a part of it, whether we fully feel it in our bodies yet or not.”

Certain places carry medicine that we need to visit every now and then to fill our cup and strengthen our own medicine.
LESSON 5
Right Balance
In our world of living energy we are in constant interchange with either sami (light) or hucha (heavy energy produced by humans only). You mediate this energy through your own energy body or aura.
In this session you will learn more about your energetic body and creating ayni (right balance).
LESSON 6
Sacred Space
Ceremony is magical because it helps us leave the mundane behind and step into sacred space. We reveal our hearts to seen and unseen helpers to bring about positive change.
You will be shown how to facilitate your own ceremonies and rituals to call in loving support.
LESSON 7
Ancestor

We turn out gaze to the past and work with an ancestor guide to retrieve healing information about our lineages and how we may heal collective trauma.

Healing the Soul

Shamanic healing is based on the notion that most illnesses (physical, mental, and emotional) have an underlying spiritual correlation.

Karmic Imprints
You are here to create your own story and move beyond the limitations that have been placed upon you by your ancestors.
Cord cutting is a powerful shamanic practice that allows for personal freedom and sovereignty. You can not cut from love, only the unhealthy ties that bind.
LESSON 10
Wisdom Cycles
All life is cyclical. The longing to connect with the cycles and seasons of nature runs deep in our bones, passed down to us by our ancient ancestors. Reclaiming and working with cyclical wisdom means coming home to our own rhythm and cycles. It means that we are fully participating in the many facets of this embodied and vibrant life.

Seeing in the Dark
The Dark is an all-embracing place where our bodies are held and our souls can thrive. For shamanic work, darkness is essential – “the shaman sees in the dark”. Exploring in this way helps us to see beyond the physical realm, into the heart of life.
We walk with jaguar to retrieve our wild creative life.

Our final gathering is a 2-Day LIVE online workshop, scheduled on January 24-25, 2026.
We circle back to our initial “yes” to lead with our hearts and forge a more authentic path. We dive deeply into what it means to know, embody, and share our medicine. We track down our fears and desires and make committed plans for our lives beyond this point.
Please note that the content of these lessons is based on the guidance from the helping spirits. This means that sometimes I may be guided to share something different than what we have planned for our calls. The nature of shamanic practice is such that it requires us to stay flexible and move with the needs of the group.
Shamanic healing is transformational and profound. A lot may surface as we uncover new truths and start peeling the layers of who we thought we were. You will come up against your edges at times. I therefor ask that you commit to booking a quarterly private shamanic healing session with me or another shamanic practitioner to help you move at the speed of the group.

VICTORIA LAGERSTRÖM (Llamita)
Victoria is a shamanic healing practitioner, professional Tarot reader, and circle facilitator with roots in Sweden and the US. After finding love overseas, Victoria relocated to the beautiful red rock desert of Zion National Park where she married American singer/songwriter Dave Tate.
It was on this new journey of self-discovery and transformation that she was introduced to shamanism and the healing effects of the natural environment.
Victoria graduated from the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition Apprenticeship Program – Peruvian Shamanic Arts For Personal And Planetary Renewal - in 2014. This in-depth two year cross-cultural program led by respected teachers Don Oscar Miro-Quesada and Bonnie Glass-Coffin, Ph.D. emphasizes personal healing as a necessary preparation for client work.
Recent advanced practitioner studies include “The Art And Practice of Shamanic Healing: A Three -Year Professional Training And Initiation” with renowned teacher Julie M. Kramer.
Mother of Eliot, active member of Central Coast spiritual community, Victoria has a private healing practice in Los Osos and teaches the ancient medicine ways of Peruvian and core shamanism through local healing circles and retreats. Driven by a long standing passion for guiding people to connect with their soul mission and unique strengths, she is a passionate believer in that restoring balance to ourselves, our communities, and our beloved Earth is the most potent medicine of our times.
